V2 Carbon Handlebar

Same Shape. More Compliance.
Our patented oval bar design is more compliant. This reduces hand fatigue and gives OneUp bars their unique feel.
FAQ
How does the OneUp V2 Carbon Handlebar compare to other carbon handlebars on the market in terms of comfort and responsiveness?
We benchmarked the V1 OneUp Carbon Handlebars against the most popular carbon bars on the market. The results were a 21% increase in vertical compliance (comfort) and a 28% increase in steering stiffness (responsiveness).
The V2 Carbon Handlebar further improves on the V1’s success, and provides even more vertical compliance.
In the 800mm width, the V2 Carbon Handlebar is 13% more compliant than the V1 OneUp bar. The new dedicated 760mm width is 33% more compliant than a V1 OneUp bar that’s cut to 760mm.
How does the OneUp V2 Carbon Handlebar decrease hand pain and minimize arm pump?
The V2 Carbon Handlebar utilizes our patented oval profile that allows the bars to flex exactly where and how we want them to. This maximizes steering response while minimizing arm pump and vibration.
Why is a 760mm bar more compliant than a cut-down 800mm bar?
As you cut down a bar, you lose some leverage, which reduces how much the bar moves (when the same amount of force is applied).
With an 800mm bar, you need to make it strong enough to accommodate the maximum possible leverage.
The reduced leverage means that we can make the 760 just as strong and just as compliant, because we don’t need to account for the increased leverage/ force that occurs with an 800mm bar.
What do the lines on the bar mean? How do I set the bar roll correctly?
We have made the V2 bars easier than ever to set up. The thicker line, second one from the front, aligns the rise of the bars directly upwards when the line points directly up.
Some riders prefer to have the rise of the bars parallel to their forks. To set the bars up like this, just align the thicker line with the fork steerer (this will mean rolling the bars towards the back of the bike from the directly up position).
What grips are compatible with the bars?
Grips that use dual clamps, a single inboard clamp, or are push-on grips, are compatible. Only grips with a single outboard clamp, like the Ergon GP1, are not compatible.
What is the torque spec on these bars?
6Nm for the stem clamp and 5Nm for the controls (brakes, shifter, and grips).
How narrow can I cut these bars?
The 800mm V2 Carbon bars can be cut down to a minimum of 740mm, and the 760mm V2 Carbon bars can be cut down to a minimum of 720mm. Any narrower and you risk clamping your controls onto the ovalized flex zone of the bar. Doing so could compromise the integrity of the bar.
Do the decals come pre-installed?
Decals do not come pre-installed, they are available separately. The gloss black OneUp logo on the bars acts as a guide to help you position a decal kit if you choose to customize the look of your bars.
