"Best dropper on the market Good extension & slut drops as low as no other 🤙"
Our dropper has the most drop, shortest stack height and shortest total length of any other post on the market. No other dropper can get your saddle lower. Use our Dropper Post Length Selector to find your perfect post.
Bikes and riders come in all sizes, so do OneUp droppers. That’s why we offer the widest range of dropper post lengths on the market from 70mm to 240mm. Every post can have its travel decreased by up to 20mm, in 10mm increments.
Smooth, reliable and a great value. There’s more than one reason testers, reviewers, racers and riders consistently rate our Dropper Post “#1”, “5-Stars” and “10/10.”

"I've owned 3 One Up Droppers now and I am mostly satisfied. That said, there are issues with these droppers (V1, V2 and V3). I am a power rider and I ride an average of 3 mountain bike rides per week going back 10 or more years, so I really put my equipment to the test. Here are my issues: - The midcap comes loose on its own and eventually spins off after many actuation's. I am always trying to tighten it so it doesn't come loose but I have needed up stripping the threads on 2 of these now because no amount of tightening keeps it from spinning loose. I needed up wrapping it with electric tape to keep it from spinning. I haven't tried locktite yet, but that would be another possible solution. - When servicing any of the droppers, there are 2 tiny hex bolts that hold the actuator on. I have now stripped 3 sets of these bolts because dirt gets lodged in around them and they become seized in the actuator. I have tried putting anti-seize on these and ever-so-lightly screwed them in with no torque and yet, they still get seized. At one point, bolt extractors wouldn't remove the bolts and I ended up cutting the actuator off and having to replace it. I was disappointed when I contacted One Up for new screws and they mentioned they do not supply them individually, nor would they tell me what size they are so I can source them on my own. - After extended use, the seat post gets some play in it so that my seat moves slightly left or right between my legs when I am riding. Having spoken to my local bike shop, they explained this is a know issue because the brass pins start to wear on the post making the glide paths wider, creating play in the seat. Ok but I do like some things about these posts: - The easiest serviceable post I have ever owned. I like to service my parts at home, and I can service these posts in less than 20 mins. - I like cable actuated posts vs hydraulic for serviceability as well. - They work in all conditions. I live in the PNW and endure dry summer dust or wet sloppy fall/winter conditions. I actuate the post a heck of a lot and they always work. - They are super easy to install and adjust."
"I purchased this as an upgrade to replace my transx 150mm travel dropper and it takes about the same amount of time to fully extend as the old one, despite being 60% longer. it also is easier to push down than the other one. overall i would 100% recommend."
"I recently picked up the OneUp 240v2. What a game changer for a taller guy. Previously, I was constantly trying to find a balance between having the post low enough for the decent and high enough for the climb. This is the perfect size for me. Installation took minutes. Shipping was fast."
"Easy installation, works as advertised!"
"Recently installed the V2 Dropper on my Priority 600X. Not for the traditional reason. As an older touring cyclist it helps mounting the bike and stopping for a rest, lowering the post giving me the ability to have both feet on the ground. Great quality at a reasonable price. Check out my YouTube installation video on Steve Retired and Cycling. https://youtu***/no_UU47QbXc"
"Solid performer that's easy to keep running smoothly. Just another solid component from OneUp."
"Best dropper out there. My Fox transfer does not compare. Replacing it with another V2"
"I own both, the V2 and V3. Not sure why anyone owns another brand of dropper. OneUp’s are easy to install, easy to maintain, offer the best length options for each of my frames, and the employees are rad humans. Furthermore, the service intervals are easy breezy, and their prices are on point. Not sure how the other companies are selling dropper posts while competing with OneUp. If you don’t know already, upgrade to a OneUp, you’re welcome."
"Good stuff. Reliable and affordabler (yes) than many others."
Every rider is different, with different frames and rider inseams, etc. Your best bet is to use our Dropper Post Length Selector. You will need: Your current ride height, the distance from the top of the seat post collar to the middle of your saddle rails. Maximum Frame Insertion measurement. You can find this by inserting a rigid post or tape measure into your frame until it hits an obstruction. Simply plug those into the calculator and we'll give you our recommendation of dropper length based on those measurements.
If your dropper remote is cable clamping (has a bolt to clamp the cable) then yes, it is compatible with our dropper. If your remote does not have a cable clamp bolt, you can purchase the Dropper cable/nut kit. It comes with a cable bushing that can clamp a cable. With this you can set up any none cable clamping remote.
Yes, our seat clamps are fully compatible with 7x9mm & 7x10mm carbon seat rails.
The orientation of the actuator is dependant on the threads in the lower tube. This means the actuator orientation, once tightened up, is arbitrary and different on every post. The actuator orientation cannot be changed without rotating the lower tube on the guide pins.
We do not have upper and lower tubes available as single items.
There can be a few different reasons for slow dropper extension. The first checks should always be:
Unfortunately, we do not have lower tubes available for sale.
OneUp droppers should be serviced using a light suspension grease. All droppers come with a small packet of Slickoleum, but any light suspension grease will do the trick. We do not recommend any lubes, including fork boost on our droppers.
Yes, some rotational movement is normal in the our dropper posts. With so many different frames, clamps, tolerances, and ride heights it's not possible to ship play-free, without running the risk of binding, as all dropper posts require keyway clearance. This small amount of movement, although noticeable in the stand, with not be perceivable while riding. If you are finding you have more movement that preferred, or additional movement is developing over time we have the Oversized pin kit to tune this movement out of you post. Most setups do not require the additional spacing of the oversized pins, but we can definitely provide them if required. Please email support@oneupcomponents.com for assistance.
It is recommended to do a upper bushing clean and grease every 25hrs or riding, a clean and grease service every 75-100hrs of riding, and a full rebuild every 250-350hrs of riding.
