Using your 6mm Hex key, unthread the pedal body cap (10) from the pedal body (6).

STEP 2: LOCK NUT REMOVAL

While holding the axle (5) with your pedal wrench or 8mm Hex key, insert the 8mm deep socket and remove the axle nut (9) from within the pedal body (6). Once the nut is fully removed your axle will slide out.

STEP 3: AXLE & AXLE SEAL REMOVAL

Axle (5) will slide out easily now. Remove the axle seal (4). Pay attention to the direction it sits onto the axle. Be sure that the thicker side of the pedal axle seal is facing out towards the narrow end of the axle.

STEP 10: INSTALL BEARING & WASHER

Push the freshly greased axle (5) into the pedal body (6).
